Landscape pictures taken in the summer of 2010 during the Monte Rosa climb. Monte Rosa is the highest mountain of the Swiss Alps and the second highest massif in Italy. We started the ascent in Zermatt, so I also took some pictures of the most famous alpine mountain which is the Matterhorn. Enjoy! 17 Photos Corsica has got two nicknames which tell a lot about this place: 'mountain in the sea' and 'island of beauty'. You can find in the gallery some pictures taken on the coast as well as landscapes taken on the legendary GR20 footpath (one of the most difficult and spectacular walks in Europe), which is over 112 miles long (180km) with the culminating point at 8,878 ft (2,706m). 20 Photos Landscape pictures taken in the Bernese Alps, in the Jungfrau-Aletsch area which is the most glaciated region of the Alps. It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The gallery contains several shots taken on the Aletsch Glacier on the way to the Mönch (German: "monk") as well as some pictures taken on the summit which is 13,474 ft (4,107 m) high. 20 Photos
