Photographer’s tips- don’t lose your camera in high mountains on a difficult location
A friend of mine has recently dropped his Nikon DSLR while climbing the Mont Blanc. The camera fell down over 300 ft and broke down completely. That accident inspired me to make a short movie showing how to handle your camera on a difficult location in high mountains while taking landscape pictures. I strongly recommend:
- Securing your backpack by an ice ax;
- Attaching a spare carabiner to your harness;
- Binding your camera strap to your harness by the carabiner before taking your camera out.
This way, if you drop your camera accidentally you will not lose your gear and your landscape pictures stored on a memory card.
